Ombudsman System
The system of records described in this notice, CFPB.010—Ombudsman System will allow the CFPB Ombudsman’s Office to track individual inquiries submitted to the Ombudsman.
Who is covered? Consumers, financial entities, consumer or trade groups, or others who submit inquiries to the CFPB Ombudsman’s Office, including Bureau staff assigned to assist on inquiries to the office.
What information is collected? Basic contact information, status of the inquiry, and correspondence.
Why is the information collected? To enable the CFPB Ombudsman’s Office to efficiently and securely provide assistance.
